A production-ready Uber/InDrive-style ride-hailing platform where riders can book trips and drivers can accept or counter-bid on requests.
- Built with five decoupled backend services: Gateway, Auth, Ride, Location, and Notification
- Architected an event-driven messaging pipeline using RabbitMQ, real-time driver tracking via Socket.IO, Redis geospatial indexing, and BullMQ ride-expiration workers
- Implemented JWT authentication, dynamic fare estimation, driver bidding, 4-digit OTP trip verification, and complete ride state transitions
- Orchestrated services using Docker and NGINX reverse proxy, deployed on AWS with the Next.js frontend on Vercel
